Playing Online Casino BlackJack (and winning)

The game of blackjack favors the house; if both you and the dealer bust (i.e., exceed 21), you lose. Still many people win money at the 21 tables, and there are as many experts on the subject as there are people willing to listen to them. If you want to prolong your ride at the table, the following elementary rules may prove useful.

Find a table whose minimum is no more than 5% of you total stash. In picking a table, consider rule variations that help the player like the option of doubling down on any two cards, or the dealer having to stand on soft 17. Even if you don't completely understand them, these rule variations can work to your advantage.

Start with the basics: Since the dealer has to hit (take a card) on any hand 16 or lower, you'll never win with less than 17 unless the dealer busts. Take a hit on any hand below 17 when the dealer shows ace, K, Q, J, 10, 9, or 8, cards that are unlikely to make the dealer bust. Stand on any hand above 11 when the dealer shows a 4,5, or 6, cards that will lead then dealer to bust more than 40% of the time.

"Doubling down" involves doubling your bet and receiving one additional card when your suspect strongly that you will beat the dealer by doing so. This is the player's chief advantage, so don't ignore this option. Doubling with 10 against a 9 or lower and with any hand of 11. Rules permitting, double with 9, or with "soft" hands (hands that count an ace as 11) of 13-17 against a 4, 5, or 6.

If you are dealt two cards of the same value, you may "split" them, doubling your bet and playing two hands. Never split 10's or 5's. Always split 8's or 7's against a dealer's card of equal or lower value. Always split 2's or 3's against a 4, 5, or 6. Always split aces. Never split face cards, 10's, or 5's.
A Funny Joke

This is really funny. It doesn't have anything to do with Online casino blackjack, but it is funny...

A dealer left work on his Friday. But instead of going home, he stayed out the entire weekend playing golf with the boys going to titty bars and spending his entire weeks tokes. When he finally appeared at home two days later, he was confronted by his furious wife and was bombarded for his actions with an angry tirade for over two hours.

Finally his wife stopped the nagging and simply said to him, "How would you like it if you didn't see me for two or three days?" To which the husband replied: "That would be fine with me."

Monday went by and he didn't see his wife. Tuesday went by and he didn't see his wife. Wednesday came and went with the same results. Finally on Thursday the swelling went down just enough to where he could see her a little bit out of the corner of his left eye
Online Casino BlackJack

This is kind of a funny story. It happened to a dealer dude I know...

One night I'm dealing 21 in downtown Vegas and chattin' it up with the players except for one old guy on 1st base. He's wearing a cowboy hat, bolo tie and the rest of the western wear so popular in the West. I ask him if he's from around here, (It's not uncommon to see western dressed people downtown who are locals) and he answers "Do I look retarded?"

I'm not sure I heard him correctly so I asked him again. He says "Do I look fuckin retarded?" I'm kind of insulted by this and without another thought I respond, "If I thought that, I would have asked if you were from Texas." The table is crackin up at this and he turns beet red and doesn't say another word.

I found out from the floor that he was from Waco. Last I heard, he's playing online casino blackjack (and land casinos are better off as a result).
Online casino Blackjack - No annoying Casino dealers :)

Man, I met the worst blackjack dealer the other day. It had a happy ending, but man was the guy aa retard...

I was just getting ready to leave after a good night at a casino in Atlantic City. I was on my way to cash out when I passed an empty blackjack table (which is rare to find on a Saturday night) and thought to myself, "Just a few more hands." I sat down at the table and dropped a $25 bet. I was dealt an 11 facing a 6. I doubled and got an ace. The dealer ended up with 21. I noticed that the dealer was actually giggling at me under his breath! I doubled my bet, but ended up losing the next three consecutive hands. Each time I lost, the dealer gave me a crooked smirk and giggled a little louder. I was going to punch his lights out, but I'm pretty sure that that's frowned upon in vegas.

On the fifth round, I was so frustrated that I played three $200 hands at once. I was dealt a 20, a blackjack and a blackjack. He had an ace showing and was getting ready to give me another crooked smile. The moment was tense, but he ended up busting! He gave me the worst glare I have ever seen and he looked about ready to cry. He paid me, locked up the table and stormed away in a hurry. You better believe I went home that night laughing and feeling great about the event! Chris
Is blackjack insurance really worth it?

If the dealer draws a Blackjack, your insurance side bet is paid at odds of 2-1 but your initial bet is lost. If the dealer doesn’t have a Blackjack, you lose your insurance bet and the game is played on as normal. When the dealer has an ace, if the casino uses 2 cards, then the casino will normally check for Blackjack straight away before the game is carried on.

In my opinion, taking insurance is only worth it if you are trying to track down the aces. For instance, if you decide you always want insurance it is an easy way of counting the aces because it is easier to remember how many insurance bets you have taken. With online casinos, they use a random number generator to pull the cards, so counting the aces is virtually impossible.

Insurance is a bad bet in my opinion. It’s just another way for the casino to win more money.

For example: Your original wager was $2. The dealer draws an ace and you are offered insurance. You decide to take it and place insurance of half your original wager, $1. If the dealer draws a Blackjack you lose your original wager of $2, but get paid odds of 2-1 on your insurance. The bet was $1, so you get paid $2. You end up getting back your original wager of $2, which means yourself and the casino are evens.

If the dealer does not a Blackjack, you lose your insurance bet, and the game carries on as normal.

You may win or lose but in essence the casino has just earned $1 from you. You are in a no win situation by taking insurance.

Don’t be fooled into taking insurance, it’s not worth it.
Online Casino Blackjack Rules
If, at the end of the game, your hand is closer to 21 than the dealer's hand, you win the same amount as you wagered. If you have Online Casino Blackjack [your first two cards total 21], you win 3:2 the value of your wager, unless the dealer also has Online Casino Blackjack. In that case the game is a tie and your wager is returned.

Aces count as either 1 or 11, face cards as 10, and all remaining cards count as their numbered values. If your hand total exceeds 21, you have “BUST” and you lose your wager. If, at the end of the game, your hand total is equal to the dealer's hand, the game is considered a tie ["PUSH"] and your wager is returned. Online Casino Blackjack [first two cards total 21] beats a combined card score of 21. The basic rules of Online Casino Blackjack are really simple and easy to understand. This is one of the reasons that Online Casino Blackjack is so fun.

Online Casino Blackjack Strategy Card
To understand the following tables remember an ace can count as either 1 or 11. *A "soft" hand is a hand, which contains an ace that counts as 11. Therefore, a "soft 17" is a hand that contains an ace and a 6. A player with an ace has the advantage of being able to change the ace's value to count as 1 after drawing another card. When a hand contains an ace that counts as 1, it is called a "hard hand".

When Should you Split?
If The Dealers Open Card Is: Split:
2, 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7 2’s, 3’s, 8’s and Aces
8, 9, 10 or Ace 8’s and Aces

When Should you Double Down in Online Casino Blackjack?

If Your First Two [2] Cards Total: Double If The Dealers Open Card Is:
11 Anything except an Ace
10 Anything except a 10 or an Ace
9 2 to 8
7 or 8 3 to 6
2-6 Don't Double Down

The Online Casino Blackjack guidelines provided here are just outlines of a simple Online Casino Blackjack strategy. There are a variety of ifferent ways to play and as most players become comfortable with Online Casino Blackjack, they develop their own Online Casino Blackjack strategies.
BlackJack is a simple game. The rules and strategy card are given below. The house edge is razor thin. A little bonus like the "three 7 of spades $5000 prize" is enough to push the payout over 100%. I suspect Commmodore casino will stop offering it when they realize this...

BlackJack Payouts:
In general, when you play blackjack based on the tables below, the payout is around 95%. The 2:1 payout on blackjack pushes the odds closer to 98%. The "Three [3] – 7’s of Spades" bonus is like an extra 3.5 cents/hand. If you're playing $1.00 hands, the "Three [3] – 7’s of Spades" bonus increases the odds by 3.5%. The total odds become 101%!

What this means is this. If you play BlackJack with $1.00 hands, and play according to the table above, eventually, you should make money. The thing that puts the odds over the %100 barrier is the Three [3] – 7’s of Spades bonus. In order to get this bonus, you'll have to play a fair number of hands. Still, it means that eventually, you'll come out ahead.
